The purpose of my show and this website is promote the good news about America and the Augusta area and the wonderful things that individuals, organizations and businesses are doing to make life here better for all of us.

Augusta has always been a great place for me to live. By working together as a community of people that love each other and our area and want to see it grow and prosper, we can accomplish great things for the greater good of all.

"Powers To The People" is not about the "right" or "left" but the "center" where we all live, work, play, love and share common dreams. It's about common sense solutions and common goals to make the C.S.R.A. a better place.

HISTORY

After a long career as a morning show announcer in Augusta, Atlanta, South Florida and Minneapolis I am now taking on a life long dream to enter the realm of "Talk Radio."

You may remember me from my days as host of "The Early Morning Zoo" and co-host of "The Mad Music Asylum" with my long time friend Ed Turner on "Album Rock" 96RXR in the late 80s. Or you may recall "Sunday Over Easy" every Sunday morning on WCHZ "The Alternative Rock Station" 95 Channel Z in the mid 90s. Or if you're streaming on the web, you may remember me from WQXI in Atlanta in the late 60s, WCOS in Columbia, SC in the early 70s, 96 Super-Q in South West Florida 1975-85 or Alternative Rock KJ104 in Minneapolis in the early 90s.

As it was then, humor and political satire will be a big part of "POWERS TO THE PEOPLE" along with your involvement and interaction both on the air and on the internet.

We'll talk about the good things happening in America and the Augusta area, have local and national musical, political and business guest to discuss a wide range of topics relevent to whatever Augusta is interested in. We'll also hear from community leaders from Church, Civic organizations and businesses bringing positive change to the area to improve our lives and lifestyle.

We'll do it all with a positive and uplifting attitude which I hope will include lots of laughter and entertainment while being informative and maybe a bit opinionated.
